Dirty Bacteria In Your Vaginal Canal…
Go take a shower, ain’t nobody got time to smell that catastrophe. This is probably how your husband/ boyfriend see this as or should I say former husband/boyfriend hahaha. Don’t worry though as it isn’t your fault, it’s to do with the imbalance of microorganisms in your beautiful lady parts.
What Is Bacterial Vaginosis
It is a common thing among women of all ages yet isn’t fully understood, research is being carried out as we speak. 1 in 3 women will get it at some point in their life, hopefully not during intercourse as it will definitely scare off your mate for good. The vagina contains a whole ecosystem of different bacteria. When a certain bacteria species increases in number it can affect the chemicals in the vagina which results in bacterial vaginosis (BV).
The Disgusting Symptoms Or Not ?
About 50% of all women with bacterial vaginosis have no symptoms but there are some gross signs such as:
- Strong, unpleasant fishy smell from the vagina
- Vaginal discharge could become watery and thin
- Vaginal discharge might become grey or white
There are very few BV symptoms which are possible but very rare:
- Itching around the outside of your vagina
- Burning feeling when going to the toilet to pee
Other Causes Of Bacterial Vaginosis (Avoid These)
Apart from the main cause of BV mentioned above if you cared to pay attention, there are other activities that you women like to do which can increase the chance of developing this monstrosity. These include:
- Douching to clean the vagina. If you do this then you are a douche bag.
- Having a batch with antiseptic liquids
- Having a new sex partner or multiple sex partners
- Using vaginal deodorants
Treating Bacterial Vaginosis…
The main treatment for this problem is antibiotics which have an 80% to 90% success rate if used as instructed. Some people don’t use them properly which makes them redundant so it is imperative you follow your doctors strict instructions when taking these types of medication.
Metronidazole – The most common type of antibiotic for BV…
The most effective method is to take it orally, twice per day for 7 days. Also the best if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
A word of warning, metronidazole reacts with alcohol, which will make you ill if you’re drunk. Avoid alcohol during this phase of treatment.
Clindamycin – This is used if metronidazole did not work or the BV came back.
This is administered as a cream directly to the vagina once per day for seven days.
Tinidazole – another antibiotic used if mentronidazole was ineffective.
This is taken as a single dose orally and alcohol must be avoided at all costs.
If I were you though, I would look at some other home remedy types of treatment in conjunction with antibiotics, this could help you get rid of this infection quicker and dare I say, FOREVER!…
